Tele-Health Information

I am a trained tele-health provider and my goal is to help you through these rapidly changing times. You can expect to be guided through the very simple steps so you can start to navigate your way through the session.
At this practice we use different tools such as Google Meet or Zoom Conference in order to facilitate these sessions.

FEES:

Fees vary with the different treatment options offered. Please contact our office for more details.

Sliding Scale for self pays

INsurance:

At this time, we only file with Ascension Seton Health Plan. It is possible that your insurance may cover part or all of your sessions, however, you must file directly with your provider.

Cancellations:

We require 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled appointment time for any cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Changes without 24 hrs notice will be billed at our full rate.

Preparing for your Tele-health appointment

Schedule and Billing:

Heidi Agular is our office manager and can be reached by phone or text at 512-721-2838 and her email is, heidi@drrobinshaw.com. She will get you scheduled and set up your account with credit card or Health Savings card. There is a Credit Card Authorization form on our website to be completed by the payor if different from the person being seen.

Complete online forms:

Please visit the forms & contact page in and you can complete and send electronically, (on a secure platform). This helps the therapist become a little more familiar with you prior to the appointment time.

Check your technology:

Visits will be held on Zoom normally. Please download the program in advance of the visit. I suggest doing a practice run with the program if you are unfamiliar with it. Decide what technology/device you will use for the video session. If you decide on a mobile device, try to have a place to set it down where it is stable, and you don’t have to hold it the whole time. Shoot for a strong internet connection. Run a speed test or move closer to the modem if there is a bad connection. Contact Heidi, our office manager and IT specialist, with technology-related questions or for help testing your Zoom link to make sure it works.

Audio & Video Set Up:

I want to see you in the best light I can (literally!). To get the most out of our time together lighting and audio are essential. Here are some easy tips to help you create a space of connection. Be sure to place a light in front of you. A white light is preferred and outside light (being outside or by a window) is excellent. Lights behind you will black out your image, so you may want to turn them off. Lights above you can cast a shadow so take that into consideration when you prep your space. Headphones are the best for audio and privacy.

Additional Guidelines:

Please advise me if anyone else is in the space during the call.

  • Please dress in the normal attire you would wear in public.

  • Drinking or drug use before or during the visit is prohibited.

  • To be present in the container we have created means being undisturbed. This is your time! Phone calls, text messages, working on the computer tells me your busy and we will need to reschedule.

  • Technology challenges are common. There is no guarantee that our devices will always behave. I try to allow time for this, but they can also delay my schedule. I will text you if I am behind.
